Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

One of my best friends, Ian Moody, lost his battle with cancer on 25 July 2014. He was a kind, generous, gentle giant with a ready smile and an infectious laugh. I had known him since school and his passing will leave a big hole for his family and friends.

Like so many people affected by the passing of a friend or relative I would like to raise funds for a charity nominated by his family. Bromley Mind provided great help and support to Ian for a great many years before he was admitted to hospital and so we would like to raise funds for this particular charity.

On Sunday 26 October I will be participating in the London South (Winchester) Tough Mudder with two of my best friends, Paul and Gary. Tough Mudder is a 12 mile military style obstacle course which is designed to test physical and mental endurance. To earn your donations we will be required to negotiate 25 obstacles including rope climbs, high walls, narrow tunnels, hanging rings, water, ice and fire,  two obstacles discharging electric shocks and mile after mile of strength sapping mud. The course map is linked below.

If you would like to sponsor us for this event your support would be much appreciated for this very worthy cause.
