Story

Following a gruelling 30 week training programme, I will be competing in Ironman Wales in Tenby on the 18th September 2016.  This is a challenge of a lifetime and involves a 2.4 mile sea swim, 112 mile bike ride, followed by a full 26.2 mile marathon - all to be completed in under 17 hours !!

I am taking this opportunity to raise funds for an extremely worthy cause - Ty Gwyn School in Cardiff

The Friends of Ty Gwyn School raises money for school equipment and other resources for use by its pupils. The school has 120 pupils between 3 and 19, all of whom have profound learning difficulties - They are currently trying to raise funds for a much needed new mini-bus.

Back in 2009/2010 I was lucky enough to be involved in building their new school.  Ever since, I have retained a close connection with the school and the amazing work they do there.

It would be great if you could make a donation to help with their fundraising - CHEERS !!
