Tony Locke husband to Pauline Locke, father to Hannah and Zoe and the grandfather to Lucy and William unexpectedly passed away last April 9th after suffering a Cardiac arrest on the 5th of April.

The 5 days Tony spent fighting for his life were horrendous for the family however under such tragic circumstances the quality of care he and the family received from James Cook Hospital was excellent.

Tony was immensely proud of being from Teesside, so to raise money for a local charity that provides such help to heart patients at James Cook hospital is something that I'm sure he would be proud of. Especially as I myself had been treated there for my heart problems years earlier.

Tony was a keen walker and spoke before about wanting to walk coast to coast. Therefore as a massive challenge and to raise as much as possible Ive decided to run the whole distance over five days.

Your donations will mean a tremendous amount to the family in memory of a man who was an exceptional human being. 

Not only a father in law to me but a best friend, it will be an honour to run this in memory of him.
