Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A few months ago I was taking a little flick through Facebook when "RideUK24 - Newcastle to London" appeared on my homepage. At the time, I had friends who were training for Ironman events and similar and so I decided I needed a challenge too and promptly signed up - 500km in 24 hours, how hard can it be...?!
As some of you may know, my youngest brother has severe cerebral palsy and without the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, there is no way that he would have the quality of life that he does. The continuation of his smile and happiness means so much to so many people and without them it would have been much more difficult.
Any attention I can draw, financial or otherwise, to the fantastic, selfless work that goes on daily at the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust is worthwhile. The Trust provides a quality of life to young disabled people that is unlikely they would have access to otherwise and there is no way that the importance of this can be overstated. All costs of doing the event have been paid by me so any donations that you make go straight to the charity I am supporting.
Further information about the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust and the work they do can be found here: http://www.discoverhannahs.org
