Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money to support the Emily Ffion Trust, which was set up by my good friends John & Sara Sowden following the tragic death of their beautiful daughter Emily.

The trust raises money to support healthcare in children throughout the North West. By way of examples, the trust has supplied key pieces of respiratory equipment to the childrens ward at the Countess of Chester Hospital, and also supplied patient monitors to the organisation that transfers sick children from across the North West to intensive care units at Alder Hey and The Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital.

When Emily passed away, she was looked after by Claire House Hospice, which provides an environment for bereaved families to say goodbye to their loved ones - The trust will also be supporting them.

Most of us can only imagine the heartbreak that an infant death brings to the family involved. The work the John, Sara and the trust is doing will undoubtedly help, and as such is incredibly important....
