Story
Graham Morgan was the kindest, most genuine and loving man anyone could wish to meet. His natural instinct was to always help others and I am sure those of you who knew him personally would agree with me.
Graham sadly passed away in July 2013 and as a mark of my gratitude to him and in his memory I will be raising money for one of his favourite charities.
Since 1993 The County Air Ambulance Trust has been helping to save lives through its funding of Air Ambulance services across the region in a grant making capacity to fund vital operational costs and infrastructure projects, Every second of every minute of every hour counts for serious accidents or medical emergencies and the difference between life and death is often a fast flying helicopter with appropriate landing facilities. The brand new helipad at Bristol Royal Infirmary, which was completed in August and will be open in April, is one of the many successful projects undertaken by this excellent self funded charity.
Graham was an avid fan of The Great Dorset Steam Fair in Blandford Forum, Dorset and he attended many shows over the years, often with the rest of the family. He absolutely loved the place.
Whilst he would probably think I am mad to run this far I couldn't involve raising money in his memory without involving the Steam Fair in some capacity,so I thought I had best run there from my home in Wick St Lawrence, Weston Super Mare.
I will be running in August to coincide with this year's Steam Fair and plan to finish the 100 kms (60 miles) within 1 day.
I would really appreciate it if you could support me with as much or as little as you can.
Thank You,
Andy Chambers (Graham's Son-in-Law)
