For many years, I have had a real desire to get involved in something worthwhile to assist in removing injustice and poverty, providing opportunity, support and practical aid to those trapped by their circumstances. It is not just about providing financial resources, but giving something of yourself, sacrifice, pain and a little discomfort to help those who are not able to help themselves. Since the days of college when I had the privilege of living for a few weeks on a Bangkok slum with my family including my 9 month son, I have had a desire to do something more. Seeing how people are locked into poverty, where there is a need for education, help and support to lift them out. Over the years I have got involved with many things, ex-offenders, prisoners, charity work but 4th Musketeer and XCC has been a challenge, a fresh kick and impetus to get more involved with children, widows, orphans overseas in situations not of their choosing. And as that develops I intend to give more of my time, finances, practical skills and physical resources to get practically involved to help bring fresh water, building toilets, and housing  etc, to bring the love of Jesus through practical help and assistance.
