As you will know, Dave sadly passed away on Monday 15th August after a courageous 8 1/2 year battle with Cancer. During the years he fought the illness he was lucky enough to have a great support team at the North Hampshire Hospital and specifically the Elizabeth Hall Centre team. 

All the staff there provided not only great treatment but also support and friendship to Dave and to both of us during the times. A special mention has to go to Dr Alison Milne who was his main doctor throughout the treatments and became a close friend spending time discussing their hobbies such as bird watching, walking and sailing.

Going into the hospital was not a chore for Dave, as he knew he would be in good hands and see familiar faces on his visits, this made such a huge impact on how he approached every stage of the journey. We want to ensure that his wishes to support the great people in the Elizabeth Hall Centre are met and welcome any donations you are willing to donate.

The funeral will take place on Friday 2nd September at Thatcham Crematorium at 1.30pm

As per Dave's request -  No Black clothing and a smart casual dress code.

We have been overwhelmed with the messages and support this week and thank each and every one of you for your kind words, offers of support and thoughts in this time.
