End of July Hadrians wall.

Roehampton lads completed the first challenge.. Three peaks (Ben Nevis, Mount snowdon and a mountain next to Scarfel Pike!!)  It was very tough but incredibly beautiful and amazing!  for one of the 18 year olds it was one of his first times outside of london!

Our next challenge is to walk over 140km across the width of the UK along Hadrians Wall!! We are doing this on the last weekend in July.

 

These challenges are being done with young people that have grown up through the Regenerate projects and we're doing it to raise money to create opportunities for young people to get the chance to take part in life changing activities. 

We are raising money so that this summer we can do the following two mission trips where young people from the Roehampton estates will be going to make a practical difference to the lives of those less fortunate:  the two trips are going to

Run a camp for 60 Romanian gypsy children with 12 teenagers from Roehampton as leaders/helpers

Take a team of nine teenagers from Roehampton to serve two communities working with street children in kenya where we will be building school desks and painting a home for street girls..
