Story
Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page.
For those who know me well they will know that running is definitely not something i do but this year i have taken up the challenge of running the London Marathon. I am under no illusion that this will be easy but i am determined to cross that finishing line knowing that i will be running to raise money for a very worthwhile charity - The Aaron Lewis Foundation. I went to sixth form with Aaron, but sadly on the 15th December 2008 Aaron was killed in action in Afghanistan; he was just 26 and on his first operational deployment.
Two years after his death, the Aaron Lewis Foundation was established by family and friends to continue to make a difference in his name. With unity and teamwork at its heart, Aaron’s family, friends and former service colleagues work together to raise funds for causes close to Aaron’s heart, providing access to sport and well being for all, while at the same time furthering his legacy.
The foundations helps both local charities in Essex and well and military charities.
I would like to raise as much as i can for a very worthwhile charity so anything that you can spare i know will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Angela xx
