I will be reaching a milestone age of 60 (where did the time fly?) in June, and instead of presents, I would be really happy if friends and family would make a donation to one of my chosen charities.

The Friends of Della and Don does amazing work in Ratmalana in Sri Lanka.  Don (a former work colleague) and his wife Della were in Ratmalana when the tsunami struck causing such devastation.  Their lives were saved by a local fisherman, and since this time they have worked tirelessly to help rebuild livelihoods, the local school, a health centre and much more.  All donations go directly to helping this community.  Please take a moment to look at their website: http://www.friendsofdellaanddon.com/
