Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2016 My 12 year old daughter and I will be embarking on a  13 night humanitarian trip with  Derby County in the community to Nakuru Kenya.

We will be travelling along with other volunteers to one of the most impoverished areas of Kenya. Whilst there we will  visit 3 schools and an orphanage to help build new classrooms, teach in the schools , hand out donations to the orphanage and slums of Nakuru. I know this is going to be a very difficult trip  both emotionally and physically but It will be worth it if we can make that difference to those children's lives.
Amber and myself's target was to initially to raise £5000 with money going to St Trizah school and orphanage in Nakuru and Derby county in the community Disability programme. This is a massive target that Amber has set herself therefore I am self funding my flights and lodgings  so money raised  can go to the projects. Any extra money we will buy some stationary items as well as resources to take into the projects we will be volunteering in.
we are planning a few events as well as offering business sponsorship deals to sponsor our t shirts and caps that we will be wearing throughout the trip and for media coverage. Main Sponsors will also get advertising on our just giving page and any correspondence regarding events etc
If anyone knows of any small  or large business that would like some advertising as well as helping a good cause please Get in touch many thanks.

Please feel free to view this video from last years trip, showing the sort of things we will be doing thanks.
