Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I, Anjelli Wignakumar a disciple of Smt. Usha Raghavan, will be performing a solo bharathanatyam (Indian Classical Dance) performance, in aid of the charity Manitha Neyum, who provide social services to those affected by war and hardships in the north and east of Sri Lanka.

I have been fortunate enough to not have faced many hardships in my life thus far, but as I grow older I am hit with the reality of innocent lives being ruined due to conflict and war. Manitha Neyum work tirelessly to improve the lives of those less fortunate than us, and by donating to this worthy charity is my way of giving back. Here are the current initiatives being undertaken by the charity at present:

This performance has been put together by young, exciting and recently graduated artistes, many of whom display exemplary talent and promise through their dedication.

Your attendance and contribution to this event and the charity will be greatly appreciated.
