Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are holding a fund raising event at our local rugby club Sunday 1st May to raise money for the stroke unit at the local hospital. A few of our members have either suffered strokes themselves or have loved ones who are recovering from severe strokes so this is very close to our hearts.

The Felix Holt Ward at George Eliot Hospital has helped many of our members' loved ones on the road to recovery so we would like to show our gratitude by raising money so that they can buy essential equipment to assist patients and staff each day.

All funds raised will also be £4£ matched by Barclays Bank so please be generous as your donations will be doubled and will really make a difference to the hospital and its patients.

Thank you.

About the charity

We actively support the care of patients being treated at George Eliot Hospital mainly through the purchase of equipment and patient comforts. We are very grateful for the support of people, clubs and organisations in the community who raise funds which directly benefit our patients.
