I've decided to set my own page up on JustGiving on behalf of Doctors Worldwide in order that I could ask help for the medical centre I'm set to open very shortly in Muhuru Bay, Kenya. 

Now that the renovations have been completed to the building, and staff have been recruited, we really need help to finance the last bit of the project before we can get going. We need to purchase furniture, medical equipment, drugs, and solar panels.

I'm really hoping your generosity will help the poorest Kenyans receive basic healthcare - something we all take for granted back at home. Before, people in Muhuru Bay didn't have a choice when they were sick - they could neither afford or rely upon anywhere to provide them with treatment locally. Now, we look forward to changing that! We have built a medical centre which will not only be affordable and reliable, but will help them with maternal care and child delivery, treating common conditions such as malaria and typhoid, and provide day to day medical care for the community.
