Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When Anna heard I had cancer she thought the worst as most people do. When she knew I was getting great treatment at the hospital and support from 'The Big C' centre, and from all over the world she decided she wanted to do something positive to show her support. On Monday 6th July, during School Assembly, Anna bravely had her long hair cut off to give to children who need a wig due to cancer treatment. The funds she raises through this will go to a local cancer support centre called 'The Big C'. I use their facilities after treatment to have a cup of tea, a massage, or simple a chat. I got a couple of wigs through their service and some avant guard hair scarf techniques, plus a bag of make up and tips on how to use it. (The new blonde 'me' is an improvement?) Most importantly 'The Big C' charity is about being positive; it is about hope and rebuilding confidence. Contributions here help them do more.
