We provide care to torture survivors to rebuild lives and promote human rights

Story

Anne Gardom died peacefully in the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice on the 8th of June 2013, having moved there from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlton on her birthday a few days before.

Anne had a large family and an even larger circle of friends, all of whom remember her with love and gratitude and now face the sadness of adjusting to life without her.

Anne asked that people remember her by giving a donation to Freedom from Torture (formerly Medical Foundation for Victims of Torture), rather than with flowers. This page has been set up to honour that request.
