Story

Social impact is firmly embedded at Lynams. Through our Golden Rules, children are asked to be considerate towards others at school and also to respond to the needs of the wider community.

At the start of term we asked for votes to be cast for three nominated local charities, using an ingenious system of buttons and cardboard tubes. The Gatehouse in St Giles was the clear winner.

Every child responded to Titian’s ‘Bacchus and Ariadne’ and has produced a piece of art work based on elements in the painting.  It is this art that will be on display on Monday 24 March in the Forum at Bardwell Road at 8pm.  Due to the timing of this exhibition it is unsuitable for children to attend.

Please do come along on the evening and donate generously to this very worthy cause.
