Story
I will attempt to climb the highest mountain in the UK with my lovely (and persuasive) stepdaughter Sarah Nottingham, who works as a professional fundraiser for The Mungo Foundation.
The Mungo Foundation works with some of the most vulnerable people in Glasgow and West of Scotland, such as adults and children with learning disabilities, asylum seekers, people with dementia, young people experiencing homelessness, people struggling with addictions and people with mental health issues.
Your support will help to develop choice, friendship and inclusion for the people they work with. Your donations help to fund vital equipment and therapists as well as trips and activities.
How your money helps:
- £25 could provide a session with an arts therapist for a person with dementia
- £50 could buy winter clothes for a young refugee
- £150 could provide a minibus for a day trip for children with learning disabilities
- £200 could buy a bench and chairs for their recovery garden.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
