Penhaligon's friends is a local charity providing bereavement support to children and their families. It offers counselling, teenage support groups, and bereavement weekends. It is all volunteer run and relies on donations and community support.

This is a fantastic local charity. They have been incredibly helpful for me at work but even more importantly have been invaluable supporting close friends and their families. 

More recently they came into Sam's class at school to help all the children after a tragic loss.

This swim involves 6 swims and 6 walks, between and over the Isles of Scilly. I have been training hard for the 15km swim and 10km walk, but I would love all my efforts be put to something worthwhile. This is my first personal challenge, and I know we are all asked regularly for sponsorship, but please donate if you feel you can! Or wish for a flat calm sea instead!
