A part of my career which I’m incredibly proud and honoured to share with you is my involvement with Schwarzkopf Professional’s Shaping Futures. In October 2014 I accompanied Janet to Kolkata in India where we passed on our skills and knowledge to 22 disadvantaged youths. This was an amazing opportunity to put back into the world a little piece of what the industry has given to me. 

To earn my place on the trip of a lifetime I fundraised like mad throughout the months running up to the trip and held lots of fun little events in the salon! Both our clients and stylists love to get involved and it brought a little something fun to the salon.

I have recently been chosen to be a member of the 2015 volunteers team in Amman in Jordan which is another great honour and privilege – I look forward to seeing what the next trip has in store for Shaping Futures.
