Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Despite running a few half marathon's, surprisingly this is my second London Marathon. I usually raise money for children's charities, and this year is no different, as I am trying to raise money for St Vincent's which is a specialist school for sensory impairment and other needs (www.stvin.com). I don't do Facebook or other social media, this is probably as 'tech savvy' as it gets for me, so please share this page and information with as many friends as possible.

I am extremely fortunate to be given this opportunity to run the London Marathon for such a good cause, despite me having to cut down on the sweets and biscuits. Personally, I set myself targets of under two hours for any given half marathon. However, my intentions for the London Marathon are simply complete the course (preferably the same day!), in one piece without any injury.

As usual, I will try my best but can't promise any fancy dress as I am already carrying far too much weight!

Thank you in advance for any contribution you can offer, which will be gratefully received. Thanks again for taking the time to read my page.
