Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - I know they come thick and fast these days!!
I'm riding this years Prudential Ride London 100 (a little 100 mile jaunt around London and surrounding Surrey countryside), and this year I thought I might see if I can raise a few quid for the charity, Childrens Chronic Arthritis Association.
Earlier this year, our little Phoebe was diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (sJIA) - an incurable condition that affects the joints, internal organs and eyes. Phoebes sJIA is currently being managed through weekly injections and daily doses of steroids, along with bi-weekly blood tests and monthly hospital check-ups - and not a single moan from Pheebs (OK, she's not a blood test fan!).
Any donation will go to supporting lots of families in the UK whose kids are struggling with the condition and offer them a little bit of respite and the opportunity to forget about the aches, pains, drugs, blood tests, appointments for a brief moment.
Any donation you give will be hugely appreciated and not a single penny will go to hauling my, currently untrained, arse around the streets of London - 100% goes to CCAA.
And if you're wondering, my target is Phoebes birthday August 11 (811)!
Thanks for reading and even bigger thanks for giving!
Cheers, Antony.
