Story
The 24th of February 2012 was the first anniversary of losing our beautiful daughter, "Aoife Jane".
She had been diagnosed in utero as having Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She was five days past her due date when we lost her.
Her little life was so short but we want to make sure that it meant something to people (other than ourselves). We hope that her little life will inspire people to give money to a very worthwhile cause.
Six out of every 1000 babies are born with a congenital heart defect every year. The families of these babies face a very stressful and uncertain future. The Heartbeat-NI trust supports these families in any way they can. From information on conditions to access to holiday caravans to give the families a break. They also raise funds for the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. They are currently raising funds towards a new MRI scanner for the hospital. The Heartbeat-NI trust is a fantastic charity. Please honour our little girl and give generously. Thank you
