Over the last two centuries, Armitage Shanks has become part of the very fabric of life in the UK. Our outstanding, innovative products have been welcomed into businesses, schools, stadiums, charities and homes. And now we want to say thanks.

Armitage Thanks is strictly non-profit making with all profits going to charity as follows: 40% is donated to Bowel & Cancer Research and 60% donated to charities local to our sites in Hull, Armitage & Newton Aycliffe as voted for by our employees.

We aim to generate £200,000 of community investment by the end of our anniversary year, 2017.

We are working with our charity partner the Hey Smile Foundation to create community links across the country. In addition to our National Charity, Bowel & Cancer Research, The Smile Foundation, together with our employees are identifying a wide range of smaller charities within our local communities, in which your donations will support.
