Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hello, My name is Georgia and I am 6. I love having long hair and swishing it around, pretending I am a princess. However last year I decided I wanted to have my hair cut and send the hair off to be made into wigs for children who have no hair. I have been growing my hair ever since and it is now finally long enough to be cut (the hair needs to be a minimum of 7 inches long). My mummy will also be sending her hair off too :0)
We will be doing this whether we raise money or not, but we really would like to help raise some money too.
We want to support two charities:
Little princesses trust who donate wigs to children who have lost their hair. Each real hair wig costs £350 to be made!
The Association of Glycogen Storage Disease (AGSD) supports families affected my GSD, my mummy and aunty have Type II which is a progressive muscle wasting condition. Mummy has lots of friends who have needed support over the years from AGSD, they also help raise awareness for these rare conditions and hopefully one day a cure will be found.
