Story

Athol & Helen are going to be running the “Illuminator” Night Trail Half Marathon+ at Glen Tanar on 29th October… It is 15 miles, off-road, in the dark!!  http://www.illuminatorrun.co.uk/

Seeing as the last time Athol & Helen did any running was 2008 – they have started a 16-week training plan earlier in the summer!  Despite not being allowed to take part in the actual race, Bones the Biomass Dog and Boris the Bavarian Mountain Hound are also fully completing the training!

Bones & Boris would like to nominate a charity that helps their furry friends when in need – so Athol & Helen will be running in aid of The North East Wildlife Animal Rescue Centre (The New Arc).

The New Arc rely on donations to rescue, rehabilitate and give a permanent home to wildlife in Aberdeenshire – Bones and Boris (and Athol & Helen) would be very grateful if you were able to sponsor them
undertaking the Illuminator challenge for this worthy cause.
