UPDATE:
1st March - its now less than 4 days to go, just finished my last bit of training for the challenge today, completing a 40 minute workout reaching 9483m, going at the same pace as I will on Sunday. Starting to feel the nerves.....
27th Feb - Second last workout until my challenge, winding down now, but started training at 06:45am and did a 40 min workout, reaching 9900m with a restricted heart-rate.
On the 22nd March, I will be going for two weeks to the Goodwill Children’s Home as a volunteer to teach English and Maths to children aged between five and eleven at a home in Thandigudi, along with eleven other sixth form pupils from Canford.

So on the 4th March, I am rowing 42,195m on a rowing machine in aid of this charity. All the money wil go to The Goodwill Children’s Homes in Tamil Nadu.

Just £5 can provide a school uniform for a student.

Many Thanks
Gus

About the charity

Goodwill Children's Homes provides care and education to destitute children and we help them to become independent, self-supporting members of society. We fund 3 children’s homes, a school and a Tribal Outreach Programme (TORP) that encourage tribal communities to send their children to school.
