Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Boydell Blackbelt Academies (BBA) teach ITF Tae Kwon Do they are based in Montrose, Inverbervie and Stonehaven.  Teaching children from the age of 4 - 7 in a specially designed 'tots' class which is fantastic for teaching focus, patience, self control and respect, the junior beginners and advanced classes are for age 7-12 years old and senior classes (age 13+) these classes focus on fundamental movements, pattern, sparring and most importantly essential self defence techniques the junior classes are supported with instructions on how to deal with any disrespect (bullying) by teaching techniques on how to safely get away to allow them to tell an adult.  The classes focus on health and fitness and teach the students the importance of eating right and looking after your body.

Rebecca, Joan, Joanne, Carrie, Maria and I are raising money to help contribute to the costs associated with sending the BBA Squad to represent Scotland at the Budapest World Cup in October. Fund raising is essential in ensuring that all members are given the same opportunity to travel with the squad.  The squad works extremely hard, they are focused and 100% dedicated to the task.
