Aberdeen Cyrenians is a voluntary organisation that opens doors for homeless people. They alleviate homelessness through the provision of accommodation and support services and by raising awareness of the issues which lead to homelessness.

The Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick site team at Silver Fin have decided to participate in the annual Sleep Out, a fundraising event organised by Aberdeen Cyrenians. 

We will spend the night sleeping outdoors with just a sleeping bag and cardboard for comfort, the plan is to keep facilities at a minimum in order for us to truly experience some of the discomfort homeless people feel on a daily basis... Yes it's going to be cold.
