Story

Benefit has always believed that beauty runs deeper than the surface and that women are at their most beautiful when they’re bold, confident and empowered.
After decades of helping women look and feel their best, this spring were taking this philosophy beyond make up to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and girls with our new global philanthropy, the Bold is Beautiful project.
This May you can help us make the world a more bold and beautiful place, one brow at a time.
Get a brow wax at any Benefit BrowBar Beauty Lounge in May and we’ll donate 100% of Benefit’s profits* to the Bold is Beautiful Project. What’s more, you’ll receive a free, full sized gimme brow* worth €25.50 as a thank you to keep those brows looking gorgeous!
All funds raised for the Bold is Beautiful campaign will be split equally between charities, DaisyHouse and Look Good Feel Better Ireland.
*Any service containing a Benefit brow wax qualifies. "Profits" refers to the profits of Benefit Cosmetics Ltd for brow wax price only.
**Subject to availability in-store at the time you receive your Benefit Brow Wax, offer valid only in respect of Benefit Brow Waxes performed in May 2016.

About the charity

People become homeless for a variety of reasons including addiction, domestic violence, abuse, ill health, relationship breakdown or loss of income. When this happens, they need a ‘space’ where they can recover from the trauma of their experience, feel safe and secure and, in time, move forward in their personal development and lives. Daisyhouse provides such a space. Daisyhouse service users are: • Empowered to do more for themselves • Encouraged to examine and address the issues which may have contributed to their homelessness • Helped to develop their capacity to live independently in the future so that when they are housed on a long-term basis, they will need little or no support Funding: Daisyhouse Housing Association receives no Government Funds. The Daisyhouse operational costs are covered by the nominal rents that are paid by residents and tenants. We are dependent on donations from the public to fund programmes for residents and expand our service reach.
