Story

Please agree to giftaid if donating. We can reclaim an extra 25% from the taxman at no extra cost to you.

On the 17th March 2015, Thomas Edward Davis (TED) was born asleep at Royal Preston Hospital. He was 38 weeks. His mum had to endure a normal delivery which was stressful knowing the inevitable outcome. During the labour and delivery, she could hear the crying of new born babies within the same department.

We are to help to raise enough money to have soundproofing installed in twelve rooms on the delivery suite at Royal Preston Hospital.

Research into possible causes of stillbirth is ongoing but I hope this renovation work will ease the distress to other mums who find themselves in similar circumstances.

Please donate as much or as little as possible and share with family and friends.

B&Q (Bamber Bridge, Preston & Chorley) have agreed to donate the materials and funds raised will help to cover the labour.

The work will not prevent another tragic event from occurring but we hope it will help to minimise a mothers pain and anguish in the future.
