Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Mum decided she wanted to set herself a challenge before she turns 70 - and what a challenge she has set, to climb to Everest Base Camp! Of course I was happy to come along and do the challenge with her. We are very pleased to be raising money for Rowcroft Hospice in Torquay. Rowcroft is a fantastic place delivering palliative and end of life care in South Devon. It was set up by my late grandfather, Richard Brinsley Senior in 1982, and is set is stunning grounds in Torquay.
I'm sure you will agree this is a challenge for most people, but as many of you will know my mum isn't renowned for her outdoor adventure and sporting prowess, so for her this will be extra tough!
Any help you can give would be very gratefully received. Many of us will be touched by the work of a hospice at some point in our lives, and I'm sure you will agree the work they do is fantastic, so please give as much you can.
Huge thanks in advance - and wish Mum luck in her training (she's going to need it!)
