Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We have decided that currently our lives aren't busy enough and we thought training for and running the London Marathon 2016 would add to the excitement!
Kate has been personally involved with the University of Cambridge Veterinary Trust and benefitted enormously from their expert teaching and research. Emma has been roped in as the 'animal loving' running friend. We will try hard to keep each other sane, particularly at mile 25!
CamVet is leading the way in pioneering research throughout the UK and Europe and boasts Europe's first Cancer Therapy Unit for animals among other great achievements. It is a small charity set up to support the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital which provides top of the range care to all animals in need, in addition to providing quality teaching to the next generation of vets. It is a non-profit organisation and this work can only continue with support. We hope the money we raise from our gruelling challenge will continue to fund groundbreaking research and exceptional treatments for animals.
Training has commenced and we are under no illusions about how hard it will be. We would be very grateful for any support (both moral and financial) that you can offer us!
