Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So we are back on our bikes to raise money for Regain.
When I was newly injured I was apprehensive on going back on a bike. Being Dutch we are practically born on a bike and I didn't think I would enjoy the experience of cycling a hand bike. But I was wrong! After signing up for the Regain ride back in 2009 I have been hooked! Cycling gives me the feeling of freedom, being out of my chair. It is a great workout and probably one of the only sports I can keep up with others :-)
Regain is a fantastic charity who helped a lot of my friends achieve their sporting dreams and even compete at the Paralympics by giving them funds for equipment. Please check out their website to see all the amazing work they do: http://www.regainsportscharity.com
We are both keen to raise as much money as we can to help Regain so they can keep helping others. We will be cycling 400 kilometres in 5 days through the Beijing province. It will be a big challenge, it will be hilly and rough terrain at times. Have a look at the itinerary: http://online.fliphtml5.com/nbqs/vvyr/#p=1
We will do a 100 kilometre ride through London in May as a training ride. Not a big challenge we hear you think, it wouldn't be if it wasn't at night! So when you are putting on your pyjamas we will be setting off.
Please help us as much as you can!
Thank you
Lots of love
Baffie & Melissa
