We provide Defibrillators and ELS training to save lives

Story

Lucky 2 B Here is a charity (SC041103) based in Skye providing defibrillators and training to locations throughout the Highlands and Islands. Earlier this year, one of their units was used at an event in Poolewe, Wester Ross and thankfully contributed to save a member of the public who had suffered a heart attack.

At the Bank of Scotland, colleagues across the country look to support a variety of local good causes and this particular charity is one our team here in Inverness, Highlands and Islands would like to assist.

Our plans are to raise sufficient funds to install 2-3 defibrillators in locations of identified need throughout the Highlands and Islands with the Bank matching the donations raised to boost our efforts. Hopefully these machines are never required, however they are proven to save lives and it would be fantastic to increase the number in our area on an ongoing basis.

On the 25th August colleagues from our commerical and retail business will be completing a walk around Glen Afftic. If you feel you are able to support the charity by making a donation, your help would be really appreciated.
