Thank you for vising my fundraising page. I am now in my 80s but still feeling fit and healthy and love to walk especially in the hills. My husband, David who sadly died last September was also a keen walker and he and I through the years have walked many (17 I think!) of the long distance trails in England and Wales. Walking in the hills brings back very many happy memories. I want to dedicate this 1000 miles of walking to him. 

All the money raised will go towards Light into Europe, a charity that works with Blind and Deaf people in Romania and a charity I have supported over many years. They are training and providing the first Guide Dogs for the Blind in the country and truly changing perceptions about how people who are Blind and Deaf can live independent fulfilling lives.
