Story
We would like to offer an opportunity for 45 children from Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Chernigiv and Kyiv regions, who have lost their parents at war or whose parents are defending Ukraine at the war frontier and a group of orphans from Mariupol orphanage to spend two weeks from the 15th to 27th of August at Barvinok Sanatorium.
Barvinok is a sanatorium specialising in eyes' treatments and vision correction, as well as providing an overall relaxing environment for its customers in Ternopil region, Western Ukraine.
While there, the children can have their eyes checked and vision corrected with the help of equipment and exercises if required. Sanatoriy Barvinok provides an opportunity for mothers to stay with younger children up to 8 years old.
Also to make their stay memorable we have planned days out to two places of choice, Pochaivska Lavra, Ternopil, Kremenetsky Gory, The Spring of St Ann, Zarvanutzia and Lviv. During their time at Barvinok, we would like to offer daily fun English lessons provided by Bond English School, drama workshops, music lessons and sports activities.
Living abroad shouldn't prevent us from helping our Ukrainian children in need, we should see it as an opportunity to support those who have lost so much… their peace and families…
