Fundraising for Finding Furever Homes

In November 2015 I adopted a lovely ex-racing Greyhound from Finding Furever Homes. I have decided to use my half marathon run in May as a way of fund-raising for this small but dedicated charity. Finding Furever Homes takes in off the track Greyhounds as well as all other breeds of stray and unwanted dogs.
My dog came to me neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated as well as kept housed, fed and walked for the weeks or months he was kennelled there, the adoption fee must only just scratch the surface of the cost of keeping and rehoming each dog. I think that often smaller charities can often lose out on fundraising to the higher profile and more publicised bigger charities out there so if you can spare a pound or two for the other dogs waiting for their Furever Home please do!
