Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Keeping it brief, I am taking 2 weeks out of work at the end of July to carry out volunteer work in Uganda to support Christian Relief Uganda (CRU) which work through a Non-Government Organisation called Maria's Care. This is the 20th year they have been visiting I cannot wait to join them this year. I feel it will be a life changing experience for me and want to help in whatever way I can. There are 3 elements to the work they do Education, community work and visiting Uganda and Maria's Care (school set up in Uganda). I will be taking part in a wide variety of tasks such as carrying out after school clubs, visiting the local hospital, distributing donated items and money donations and visiting local families and children in the area.

I am funding the whole trip myself from flights, accommodation, vaccinations etc  The money donated here will purely go towards things for the children/families/schools whilst we're over there. As much as possible, anyone who donates I will let you know what your money has gone towards. Any amount will help no matter how small. I have uploaded some pictures so you can see the things last years volunteers got up to.
