Many thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in an Epic 40 mile cycle around Hertfordshire. Having been corralled into getting fit (from the start of this year) by my friends this will be the furthest I have cycled to date. I am hoping it will take me just north of 3 hours.

Macmillan Nurses work in NHS hospitals or the community. A few work in hospices and private hospitals, but do not charge for their services. As specialists they give advice to other healthcare professionals, and help people with cancer to understand their treatment options. All Macmillan nurses are registered with at least
five years' experience, including two or more years in cancer or palliative care, and have completed specialist courses in pain and symptom management, and psychological support.
Medical Detection Dogs are trained to detect the odour of human disease. We work in partnership with researchers, NHS Trusts and Universities. Our Cancer Detection Dogs are trained to detect the small amounts of volatile substances released by cancer cells. We hope that this work will enable scientists to develop an early cancer screening system. Our Medical Alert Assistance Dogs are taught to identify the odour changes associated with certain medical events, to assist individuals manage complex medical conditions on a day to day basis.
The Daylight Club is a friendly social club for adults of working age with physical disabilities who live within the City & District of St Albans. The Daylight Club provides a safe and supportive environment where members meet twice a week to participate in a variety of interactive workshops, guest speakers, day trips and community events.
