Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Alex Geralds, age 8, is a normal, healthy, fun-loving, kind hearted boy. He loves football, Cricket, Running and would spend all day playing sport
Alex fell off of his bike in December 14 and was petrified to get back on. To help him overcome his fear, I signed him up for a Child triathlon (i also signed myself up for the Adult Olympic distance so we could train together!). Despite being nervous, he got back on his bike and hasn't looked back. Alex is training hard for his 135m swim, 3,600m cycle and 1.2k run and will give it his best on the day. Pretty amazing determination for a boy of his age.
More than just undertaking the challenge, Alex wanted to support a charity, and really wanted to support his friend Charlie (who is running an amazing 5k in September) in raising money for the Sam White Legacy, supporting Brain Tumour research in memory of Charlie's family member Sam White, who lost his life to a brain tumour whilst just a teenager
Whatever you can spare in donations, no matter how small, would be wonderful for the charity and will be great support for Alex's hard work. You can text GERA80 £1/£2/£3/£4/£5/£10 to 70070 or donate via the JustGiving page
