Story

Hello! Thank you for visiting my 'Three Marathons for the Scottish SPCA' page.

In a moment of madness I signed up to do three marathons in 2012: London in April, Edinburgh in May and Loch Ness in September.

So this year I will mostly be running!

As you probably know, I'm lucky enough to work for the Scottish SPCA, Scotland's animal welfare charity.

The Scottish SPCA rescues and rehomes thousands of defenceless animals every year, investigates cases of cruelty and helps prevent neglect and abuse through education.

All of this wonderful work relies on public donations, so any support you are able to give me will be greatly appreciated and will help make a difference to the lives of so many animals.

Please remember that donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they’ll send your donation directly to the Scottish SPCA and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible pound donated by a UK taxpayer.

About the charity

The Scottish SPCA is Scotland's leading animal welfare charity. The Scottish SPCA is entirely separate from the RSPCA which works only in England and Wales. With no Government or lottery funding, the Society relies on the generosity of the Scottish public through donations, legacies and fundraising events.
