My name is Ben Wilkinson. I am ten years old and go to Cranmore Preparatory School in West Horsley.

My mum told me about CSW, a human rights organisation, who work in over 20 countries worldwide, defending everyone's right to freedom of religion or belief.

Over three quarters of the worlds population live in countries where there are severe restrictions on their religious freedom. Infact, at the moment, it is one of the most violated human rights in the world!

I decided to "fundraise for freedom" in order to support CSW who are working to change that. Their vision is of a world where everyone is free to choose their beliefs - to hold and practise any religion they like, or none at all. I think people should be free to live out their faith in safety and in peace and by helping raise some vital funds, I hope to play my part in making that happen.

Please consider giving generously to  sponsor my abseil down Guildford Cathedral on Saturday 4th June. It's a very steep climb to the top (you can watch Mervyn do it on the CSW website) and a 150 feet plunge over the edge of that huge building
