Story
Hello party people
On Saturday 3rd September I am competing in the Man Vs Mountain Race, a marathon up and down Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and one of the famous Three Peaks.
I have a modest fund raising target for a very worthy but lesser known cause, IBDSG. This charity provides great support to people who suffer from painful and life changing conditions, such as Crohns and Colitis, on a daily basis and often in silence. If you can contribute the price of a cup of coffee (£2) towards the fundraising target it would be greatly appreciated.
The race has an average finishing time of 6 hours and will be the hardest physical challenge I've put myself through. To ensure you have confidence your money is well invested in me, let me reassure you my training regime is both unique and unparalled.
In the past month I have been on a Stag Do, been on a holiday to Germany, attended 3 separate BBQ's, and also partook in celebrations at a wedding and a birthday party. On top of this I have run at least 3 miles (nearly 4) around my local park in my efforts to prepare.
Luckily as an athlete, my body is a finely tuned machine, and I have the utmost confidence in myself that I will be able to blunder and stagger my way through every tortuous mile.
If that isn't enough to part you from your money, now is an ideal time to remind you of the good cause I am running in aid of..
Yours in anticipation
Ben B
