Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2016 I will be running the Virgin London Marathon on behalf of The Heart of Kent Hospice. It will be a real challenge for me and is a goal that I have always wanted to achieve.
I chose to run for the Heart of Kent Hospice as it is a charity that is very close to my heart. In April 2015 I sadly lost my Grandad (Derek Horne) to cancer. He was fortunate enough to pass away at the hospice, where the staff made sure he was as comfortable as possible. I will be very proud to run the marathon on behalf of my Grandad and the fantastic charity.
More about the Charity
- They care for almost 1,000 patients and their families in their homes, in the community or at the hospice.
- They charity costs over £4m to run a year and they rely solely on public donations as well as the fantastic volunteer staff.
