I am an actor with Shakespeare's Globe and am lucky enough to be in a company that is taking Hamlet to every nation on Earth for the next 2 years. During this trip I will be raising money for the Foundation of Light. A fantastic organisation who last year helped improve the lives of over 40,000 people in the North East.

My aim is to have a photo taken in EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD in my Sunderland football shirt. The North East of England has a huge place in my heart as it is the place that shaped me and provided me with the opportunities to get to where I am now. I would very much like to give something back.

Even if you are not from the North East yourself please do contribute if you can, however much. The skills and confidence given to the youngsters that the Foundation work with is invaluable.
