My mum was a passionate believer in education and literacy, and spent 30 years as an English Literature teacher in schools in London.

She was also a voracious reader, and a passionate advocate of the power and importance of books in changing destinies, as well as the unadulterated joy books and stories can bring to everyone.

So in memory and honour of my mum, on the occasion of our wedding, we would be delighted if you would donate to Book Trust, a charity whose aims and ethos I know my mum would support.
