Leuchie House provides caring respite breaks with 24 hour specialist care for those with complex needs, their families and carers.  I've never seen a place like it, providing tailored breaks in a beautiful place...just around the corner from where I live.

I've supported Leuchie House for almost a decade now, and played a small part in the 'Save Leuchie Campaign' 5 years ago when the MS Society decided to withdraw funding.  I'm so happy to say that Leuchie is now an independent charity, and continued donations make that possible.  The staff are amazing and completely dedicated to making everyone's stay individual and enjoyable.  I've had people tell me that the breaks made possible by Leuchie mean life and death to their loved ones.  

I can believe it.

I watched how being a full time carer for my mother in her advanced stages of MS, year after year, affected both my father and her.  It was heart-breaking.  A place like Leuchie available to them would have made so much difference.  Unfortunately, one wasn't.  

I will keep doing what I can to help Leuchie to continue giving a little bit of humanity to the thousands of people who have and will use the facility.  Thank you for helping out in whatever way you can.
