Story
Last year, both my big sisters ran a half marathon. Growing up with two big sisters, it is hard not to look up to them and their achievements- plus it's hard not to be slightly competitive! So this September, I've decided to run the Ealing Half Marathon.
When I was young, my Dad was diagnosed with MS. I've grown up with his condition and throughout the years I've seen the support St David's Hospice has provided to him and my family. When I was in school, my sister had her first baby in Switzerland and without question the hospice offered respite to my Dad so my Mum could go and visit her first grandchild. Since then, they have taken care of my Dad throughout the years, providing him with care he needs and equally time for my Mum, as his full time carer, to visit her children and grandchildren across the country.
For this reason, I have chosen to run the Ealing Half Marathon and raise money for St David's Hospice. They are an incredible non-profit organisation who offer support and care to those who need it, running entirely on charity donations. Anything you can give WILL have a direct impact and positively enable them to continue to care for my Dad and the wealth of others they help.
Thank you for your donation xx
